Cocoon Crossing

Cocoon Crossing 3D is a calm and thoughtful 3D routing puzzle that asks you to guide colorful caterpillars across a series of handcrafted boards. Each caterpillar has its own color, and its goal is the cocoon that matches that color. You do not control the whole creature at once. Instead, you grab the head or the tail and drag it, and the caterpillar crawls forward one tile at a time. Every move counts, so you need to think about where each segment will land before you commit. When a caterpillar finally reaches its matching cocoon, it transforms into a butterfly, and that small moment of release is the reward for solving the path.

The rules are simple to learn but create real depth. Worms cannot cross each other on the same level. If two caterpillars need to pass through the same spot, you have to find another way. That is where crossings come in. At a crossing, a caterpillar can climb over a bridge or slip under a tunnel, letting it pass without blocking the other. This single mechanic opens up a wide range of layouts, because you are not just moving forward, you are choosing when to go up and when to go down. Every board comes with a move budget. You can finish a level without using every move, but the real challenge is the par star. Chasing that star means finding the shortest and cleanest route, not just any route. Some levels look tangled at first, with caterpillars winding around each other and cocoons placed in awkward corners. The fun comes from untangling that mess step by step, testing a path, backing up, and trying again. Because the game is relaxing, there is no timer pressure and no punishment for thinking. You can take your time, study the board, and enjoy the quiet satisfaction of watching each caterpillar turn into a butterfly.

Two worms can't overlap on the same level — at a crossing tile, send one over a bridge and the other under a tunnel. Get every worm home (they turn into butterflies) to win.
